Big bro

As the years since Christ’s birth keep counting, we encounter new trends over and over. Since the invention of TV it is much easier to promote them to wide masses. And then internet prospered which is even stronger tool for that purpose. We are being served with a lot of twisted, immoral content on an everyday basis. We are seeing people making fools out of themselves for five minutes of fame. We are seeing bunch of untalented, dumb people dictating us what to do, what to wear, who to listen to, how to think. Critical thinking is on a much lower level now than it was last year, and it is constantly dropping more and more. Nobody reads anymore. If there was no school book writers would bankrupt. People forgot that knowledge is power, and it’s the only thing that can help us fight the giant cloud of immortality and ignorance threatning to gulp our whole society. They are making us dumber everyday. Through music industry they manipulate our way of thinking. Only in this year, almost every hit song was about booty. Only 30-40 years ago mainstream music had such a strong lyrical power, that not a single one mainstream song can be even compared to it. People once appreciated when someone is trying to make a difference, to help others. Nowadays that kind of people is being ridiculed. That’s why all the people who are not completely brainwashed stopped trying to change the world, and focused on themselves and their families. I have recently read George Orwell’s “1984“, and although it is terrifying, it is our reality. I was shocked when I have read it. But after I thought about it, I realized it perfectly described our society. There is no privacy anymore, cameras are all around us. Every person has a tracking device (smartphone). The big brother is watching us, waiting to take over.

Monopoly. A game, or a real thing?

We live in a world of major corporations whose only goal is making money. One of the best examples are oil companies. Most of the alternative energy projects are being stopped or postponed. Why? Because if we could use alternative energy for everything there would be no need for fossil fuels. And that would make major corporations bankrupt. And we don’t want to see the rich guys bankrupt, right? The higher-ups are doing nice job controlling every science project that would help everything and everybody on this planet, except themselves. Selfishness has grown way too big among the human race. We don’t think about the future. We are being entertained with a lot of trivial things, just to keep us away from thinking. That’s why the educational system is so simplistic. They don’t want us asking questions. They don’t want us blowing up their conspiracies. They don’t want us to have the best lives possible. They made up everything hundreds of years ago. They have been cleverly pulling the strings across the world. The monetary system, the creation of FED, it’s all just a part of a huge pile of lies. Long time ago, money became worthless. Once, money could be guaranteed with gold. Now, money is being made out of thin air. And what that creates? Debt. An unimaginable amount of money is now owed. And what happens when debt crosses certain level? The whole system breaks down. So, when this happens what are people left with? What is the most valuable thing that can help our society rebuild itself? Knowledge. That is why a lot of projects are being secretly run in foreign countries. That is our only hope in case we don’t come to our senses before anything devastating happen. The only thing we can do to prevent that is protest. Protest, protest, protest. Watch out. The big brother is watching you.

The Complete low-budget audiophile music system setup

We live in an era of smartphones. They are direct descendants of cell phones. They have evolved greatly. Now, they are primary media players for most of the people. And most of them are not aware of the reproduction quality of those devices. It’s simply put, terrible.
A real audiophile music setup would require thousands of dollars, and a lot of room, especially if you want big box speakers. If you want to get that you would probably want to get a vintage pioneer amplifier, or you could get a new yamaha, Musical Fidelity, Marantz or JoLida amplifier. But you also need a music player. The best sound quality can be played by a high quality gramophone, such as Thorens or Music Hall, or you can get a great CD player. The reason for these vintage solutions is that they offer the best sound quality, lossless quality. And of course you need something to reproduce this on. High quality speakers. I would highly reccomend getting couple of JBL boxes, even vintage ones are more than great. I have a couple myself, so I know what I am talking about. Now, if you live in an apartment, and you can’t make a lot of noise, getting a pair of headphones might be a better solution. Sennheiser, AKG, Audio Technica are leading headphone manufacturers. Sennheiser HD800 are named the best headphones in he world. This solution could cost you up to 30,000$.
Now, thanks to the internet, alot of songs are available for online streaming in lossless quality. One of services that offers that service is TIDAL, which I highly recommend, because of it’s huge music database. So we have a music source. It can be reproduced through any smartphone or tablet, but it’s proven that iPhone and iPad are best sound reproducers in their class. There is a huge market of portable amplifiers at this moment. One of the leading brands is Fiio. It’s a very high quality sound amplifier. Heaphones. There’s a high variety of entry-level audiophile headphones. Sennheiser, AKG, Grado, Audio Technica, Sony, are just some of them. DO NOT BUY BEATS HEADPHONES. They are overpriced, unnatural sounding pieces of …
How to make it work? First, you need to take your smartphone or tablet, and connect it with the amplifier with the 3.5mm two sided cable. Then you plug your headphones into the amplifier. And there you go! A highly portable audiophile music setup. You can take it wherever you wish to, and not need to suffer, or get your ears bleeding due to horrible sound quality.
I understand that a lot of people just don’t care about music. But for you who do, this is a considerable low-cost solution.

The Pale Blue Dot

I have a strong belief that every human being must understand the importance of our home planet. And yet, our planet is nothing but a speck of dust in vast cosmic space. But nevertheless, it’s our only home and we must try hardest we can to preserve it. I have read a text by Carl Sagan, a famous astrophysicist. He explained the importance of our planet for human race. The entire quote:

“Look again at that dot. That’s here. That’s home. That’s us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every “superstar,” every “supreme leader,” every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there-on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.

The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot.

Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe, are challenged by this point of pale light. Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves.

The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand.

It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we’ve ever known.”

I am sorry for making it so long, but I feel that I am helping everyone by sharing this. Readin these wise words can make us think differently about our planet. And I hope we will.

My prediction of NBA fandom territories in the next season

Being one of the most popular sport leagues in the country, NBA has a huge fanbase. Not only in the US, but all over the world too. Every single basketball player from every place in the world have his favorite NBA club. My personal favorite is San Antonio Spurs, because of their game system, and maturity they show on the court. It reminds me of basketball that is played back in my homeland.
The Upshot portal gave us an insight into this season’s NBA fanbases located in the US. Some of them are quite impressive, but some don’t even exist. Arguably, the best club in the franchise history, the LA Lakers, without a doubt have the biggest fandom of all clubs in the league. They are followed by the NBA vice-champion, Miami Heat. Occupying the most of the east coast, they are threatening to become the most beloved NBA club, at the moment. But considering the fact that LeBron James has abandoned them, it’s highly doubtful. Having that in mind, the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron’s new-old club, have a big chance of creating a nation-wide fanbase. Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love and LeBron James are the new big three – the new moneymakers for the club owners. Having superstars of that calibre, will affect the ticket sales enormously.
The actual NBA champion’s fans, San Antonio Spurs, occupy the southernmost part of the country – southern Texas. But I believe their glory comes with time. You can say that their fanbase ages like wine.
The biggest franchise rivalry – Boston Celtics and LA Lakers, is not so much present now. With the both teams losing their best players in last couple of years – their fanbase has considerably shrank. Celtics’ especially, and Miami Heat is the main reason; they overtook nearly whole east coast.
The best NBA team from the end of the last century – Chicago Bulls still have a large fanbase, considering that they are surrounded by numerous NBA rivals – Indiana Pacers, Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks and Minnesota Timberwolves. With the return of Derrick Rose, they are expected to make a huge expansion fan-wise.
In contrast to the east coast, which has a NBA club in nearly every major city, the west coast is pretty poor. The Portland Trail Blazers, Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns hold the majority of the fans (with the Lakers excluded)
With all being said, I predict that this season’s fanbase modification will be dramatic. Heat will go down rapidly, Cleveland will pick up most of their fans, White Mamba (Kobe Bryant) is back, so LAL will hold most of it’s “territory”. And the Heat fans from all over the world will probably follow LeBron to Cleveland, bringing them absolute superiority over the other clubs in the league. I look forward to see this year’s NBA fandom map.

10 Simple life tricks

These are some simple tricks that will make your life alot easier. Some of them, my mom taught me, and some of them I have learned in school, TV, internet, etc.
1. Always remember the name of the person you just met. You don’t want to meet them again not knowing ther name.
2. If you feel tired or exhausted, use apple cider vinegar, mix it with he water, and you can use it like shampoo, or as a food supplement.
3. Caramel milk helps with sore throat, you probably didn’t know this, but now you have the reason to take some sugar in.
4. When you are heating some food leftovers in the microwave oven, the best way to do it is to leave an empty spot in the center of the plate, so the food heats up evenly.
5. If you have those ridiculously expensive candles whose wick is located too low and you can’t reach it with your lighter, try using a raw spaghetti.
6. If you want to cool you drink fast, you just need to wrap the bottle with wet toilet paper, and leave it in the fridge for 15 minutes.
7. Lowered sleeping pillow will be back in it’s original form, if you keep it on the sunlight for 30 minutes.
8. If you ran out of bleach, simply use vinegar to remove stains fromm your white clothes.
9. Use toothpaste to clear up hazy car headlights.
10. Chewing gum uring onion cutting will prevent you from crying.

My favorite band

Originaly, there was four of them – Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Andrew Fletcher and Vince Clarke. Then Clarke left the band, Alan Wilder replaced him. Then Wilder left the band – which made them one of the most famous trios of all time. The band was formed in 1981. in Basildon, Essex, England. Traveling around the world, moving from one place to another, made them pick up various influences and inspirations for their music. Their breakthrough hit – “Just can’t get enough” is still one of the most popular songs in United Kingdom. As the years were passing, their music matured with them. During the 1980’s they released seven albums, and in 1990 in climax of their career, they released one of the best music albums of all time – “Violator”. “Enjoy the Silence”, “Personal Jesus”, are only some of the classics that can be found on that record. The next album came out in 1993. and since then they have a tradition of releasing a new album every four years. The last one came out last year – “The Delta Machine”. Depeche Mode is named one of the most influental bands of all time, because of their innovations, and different approach to making music. They had a concert last year in my city (Belgrade), and that night was the best night of my life. I was feeling so alive, feeling like ai belong there, that is an experience that I will never forget, and definitely, I need to do that again, ASAP.
